Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers operates the Willamette Project in western Oregon, including a series of dams, revetments, and hatcheries. The primary purpose of this project is flood control but it also is operated to provide hydroelectricity, irrigation water, navigation, in stream floors for wildlife, and recreation.
