Moishele and the Flowerless Rosebush

In his debut as a novelist, the essayist, journalist, satirical script writer and columnist Mauricio Wrots portrays a touching and realistic view concerning the lives of the immigrants who were "forced" to emigrate to Brazil before and during World War II. In an exotic and friendly country, the memories of pain and the pain of memories are relieved by the intense daily routine, by the hope of growth, by love and by a religious syncretism that is frequently envisioned but rarely reached by mankind. A humanist book, portraying history, culture, religion and the possibility of loving your neighbor.
