About this book
Proof Evident; Presumption Great... Antonio Skinelli, Riccardo Lucero, Zanobi Benedictto and Rolland Keeley shared one thing in common-all were victims of the rogue vigilante killer. That's not all they shared. All four were hardened criminals with extensive criminal records, gangsters by their own accounts, Houdinis when it came to evading convictions, and braggarts concerning their exploitation of the unsuspecting. Three of the four victims were massacred within days of their unwarranted acquittals; the fourth even before trial. The execution-style killings were traced to the same murder weapon and the same calling card was left at each of the murder scenes-a black long-stemmed rose. Follow the journey of supposition, deception and eccentricities of the law as a former police officer turned PI, Beau "Dex" Dexter, navigates his way through the maze of the criminal justice system in his quest to solve the vigilante murders.
