Political polarization on a variety of issues and ideologies has coalesced into two major factions we call parties. Above it all is a moral sense of right and wrong, patriotism and disloyalty, good and evil. Each faction wonders if they can trust the legislators in the other faction to do what's right for the country. Will those running for re-election in November consider the greater good of the nation above their own? Will they lie to us or tell it like it is? Which ones used the Constitution to uphold the law, and which ones abused it to their own ends?This booklet is primarily for U.S. citizens who vote, who want to know what went on in the impeachment process, who would prefer to think for themselves and develop their own opinions straight from the facts rather than be told what to think by the talking heads on TV, by blogs and by other media. Instead of telling the reader what to think, the booklet provides the basic facts relevant to The Case in a structured way along with a little guidance to better understand the documents and facts presented. It is for the reader to take those facts and determine whether the parties to the process acted in their country's best interests or in their own.
