Marvelous Light

Light is a blessing we all enjoy daily without considering the ubiquity of its goodness. It illuminates everything around us. It sends signals around the world and into space. It even warms our food. And as the scientists of the early 1900s began to realize through their work, light's energies give form to all matter. Light pervades every bit of existence. Philosophers and theologians have defended this reality for millennia. The light of man, the light of the gods, and the light of life share all the primary features of light as now expressed in modern physics. By appreciating humanity's character as well as the cosmic and quantum structure of the universe's genesis, modern man has the opportunity to peer into the enigmatic shadows that have haunted serious thinkers since the beginning of time. Engaging science, philosophy, and theology, Marvelous Light informs and affirms each perspective in part and all in one comprehensive, cohesive, and compelling whole. Light radiates the truths which are most fundamental in our lives and in our universe: marvelous light.
