Mosaics Magnified features details of four Greek and Roman mosaics, highlighting the incredible precision with which the craftsmen placed their many thousands of tesserae. Each set includes sixteen notecards (four different designs) and seventeen envelopes, in a presentation-quality box. AUTHOR: John James Audubon (1785-1851) was an artist and naturalist who became renown for his works cataloging North American birds. His drawings and watercolors were engraved and published in London by Robert Havell as The Birds of America, which featured 435 hand-colored plates.
