Description
This is a guidebook to help you learn about the species that inhabit in the Fuente de Piedra lagoon, and its surroundings, in the southeast of the Iberian Peninsula. It contains 110 cards including exclusive pictures made by the authors themselves. These cards hold the data and characteristics of the species, with the scientific and vernacular names. Fuente de Piedra is recognised by the presence of large flocks of flamingoes, the huge bird with pinkish wings. Between fifteen and eighteen thousand flamingo couples have converted this large lagoon, this vast, endorheic basin in the geographic centre of Andalucia, their mating space in Europe.
