La sostenibilidad en la caza se basa en dos premisas fundamentales de obligado cumplimiento: la no sobreexplotacin y la no artificializacin del recurso cinegtico. La caza as ejercida, la caza sostenible, se convierte en un instrumento cierto de conservacin de especies y hbitats. La caza sostenible constituye una herramienta fundamental para la conservacin de la biodiversidad. En este libro se muestra en qu consiste la caza sostenible. El contenido de esta obra se ha dividido en seis captulos. El primer captulo se centra en el estudio de la caza como recurso natural renovable susceptible de aprovechamiento. En el segundo captulo se hace un recorrido histrico por los antecedentes que dan lugar a la situacin jurdica y conceptual de la sostenibilidad en la caza. El tercer captulo establece cules son los Principios en los que se basa la caza sostenible. En el cuarto se explica qu es la caza sostenible y cmo se puede establecer cundo una actuacin cinegtica (de caza o de gestin) es o no sostenible. En el quinto captulo se clasifican y analizan los instrumentos necesarios para conseguir una caza sostenible. Por ltimo, en el captulo sexto, se describen los parmetros imprescindibles sobre los que debe sustentarse la caza sostenible: Sostenibilidad, Conservacin, tica y Transparencia; a la par que se engarza la caza sostenible en la conservacin de la biodiversidad, meta totalmente necesaria para situar adecuadamente la caza en nuestro tiempo. In this book is shows what the sustainable hunting is. The content of this work has been divided in six chapters. The first chapter is focused on the study of hunting as renewable natural resource susceptible to exploitation. In the second chapter, a historical journey is made through the antecedents that give rise to legal and conceptual situation of sustainability in hunting. In the third chapter are established the principles in which sustainable hunting is based. In the fourth chapter explains what sustainable hunting is and how to determine when a hunting or management action is sustainable or not. In the fifth chapter are classified and analyzed the necessary tools to achieve sustainable hunting. Finally, the essential parameters in which sustainable hunting must support are described in chapter six: Sustainability, Conservation, Ethics and Transparency. At the same time the sustainable hunting is associated with the Biodiversity Conservation, an absolutely necessary target to get a properly place for hunting in our time.
