This book is the result of a remarkable conference that brought together more than 100 conservation finance experts and practitioners from North, Central, and South America. They met in Valdivia, Chile, in January 2009 to share insights across a spectrum of practice areas, from tax-related initiatives to limited development, conservation investment banking, financing sustainable development and ecosystem services, and more.
