Description

As a young man I had two pages of my life story stuck together. The book of my body would fall open again and again to that clotted place where the paper puckered up, heavy with glue or rain, closed like eyes or lips. It took until mid life proper to get those pages apart. Pain gave my paring knife an edge. These seven poems show parts of the journey into that forgotten place to its other side.
