Description
Mississippi’s National Forest System comprises six national forests and seven ranger districts across the State. The six forests that makeup the system include Bienville National Forest, Homochitto National Forest, Delta National Forest, and Holly Springs National Forest. These forests offer multiple use opportunities to Mississippi’s residents and visitors, and provide the ongoing renewable ecosystem services of clean water, timber, and wildlife and fish habitat.
