Description
Both quantity and quality of water in the Rio Grande have long been a primary concern for water-resource managers. The transport and delivery of water in the basin has been engineered, using reservoirs, irrigation canals and drains, and transmountain-water diversions to ensure an adequate water supply to meet the agricultural, residential, and industrial demand.
