Description
Sarah Ragsdale returns to the New England Farm Coast of her childhood for meditations about mindfulness, impermanence, and transformation. Inspired by the inherent joy in life, always disappearing yet always present, the Farm Coast’s unique blend, and Native history, offer a setting for a deeper appreciation of the wisdom beneath the surface of life. Nature Poems are followed by joyful family memories of life on the Farm Coast, followed by poems honoring our legacy of the Sakonnets and other tribes, including poems read at Standing Rock, and a visit to the Hopi Chief at Third Mesa. Some were chosen for the permanent collection of contemporary poetry at Poets House, NYC
