Description
In 2009, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), in cooperation with the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC), began an appraisal of the straitified-drift aquifers in the Cayuta Creek and Catatonk Creek valleys in Tompkins, Schuyler, Chemung, and Tioga Counties, New York (fig. 1). This study is a continuation of a series of hydrogeologic appraisals done in cooperation with the NYSDEC.
