Description
Anna is the centre of attraction for a little posse of fascinating creatures that flock to her garden, where they indulge in daydreams and eat her food. She is adored by a vain cat, a silly dog and a hawk-eyed songbird. Then there is Maxie, an inquisitive boy who treasures the garden, as he can read in peace and make drawings of quirky goats. He likes to amuse Anna by narrating his travels to a swamp and a village where vultures find sanctuary. But mischief flutters around the garden – that is to say the theft of Anna’s famous apple strudel!
