A story of turning pain to gain, darkness into light, criticism into growth. A pine cone is planted during one of the greatest storms trees have ever known. A seed lands in one of the darkest parts of the forest. Here, a lone pine cone is forced to grow. The other trees tower over the seedling and pity the muddy hole it has found itself in. Little do the other trees know, its roots continue to thrive beneath the surface. The young pine tree learns to feel the nature and creatures closest to the Earth. The small pine experiences what the other trees never got the pleasure to know. It learns to feel the animals walking above it, the ants marching in rows beside it, the bees collecting nectar from the flowers around it. The pine grows to know life at the ground level, better than any pine before its time. Although the other trees look down upon the tiny pine; beneath the earth; its roots continue to thrive! The tiny pine never stops believing; it has a mighty destiny and legacy to spring into being.
