Description
The Office of Air and Radiation (OAR) has been actively involved in addressing environmental justice issues since the early 1990’s during the advent of the environmental justice movement. In 1992, OAR developed its first Environmental Justice Action Plan which followed the recommendations of the Environmental Equity Work Group in its report to the Administrator entitled, “Environmental Equity: Reducing Risks for All Communities”.
