Naturalist Whitey Lueck’s third collection of essays–following Staying Put in Lane County (essays written during 2014 only) and Words from the Woods: 2004-2008–is another romp through the woods of western Oregon. But like the two preceding volumes, Whitey also includes commentary on his peripatetic years–with glimpses in this collection of events that took place in Norway, France, and Mexico–as well as his current, more sedentary life in Eugene, Oregon.
